An angel-gargoyle poem... to be read as three poems - "Where The Lost Can Be Found" (right of midpoint), then "I Will Seek You" (left of midpoint) and lastly, "I Will Seek You Where The Lost Can Be Found" (whole lines).
If you get lost, | Lost in the void, |
I will seek you - | In the darkness, |
Pull you back from that place | Where fear and anger fester, |
Even if it means | I wander alone - |
Long, tough, tired days | With nothing to show for it |
I am hopeful of | The future, |
Our future, | A bright light |
Which shines | Through the fog, |
With a glory to awaken all that | Is dead, a dying husk with no hope |
You are | And I am too |
A seeker after joy, of | The truth of all things: |
Life and existence | Leaves you with questions |
And a lightness of being | In the strangest of places |
That can never be taken away |
